会议摘要(Abstract)
The last decade has seen important progress on the mathematical problems of cosmology. In particular, there has been important work on stability problems for FLRW models both concerning the direction towards the big bang and in the expanding direction, by Ringstrom, Luk, Speck, Oliynyk, and others. However, significant problems remain concerning the mathematical understanding of fully nonlinear features of cosmological dynamics, such as structure formation.
举办意义(Description of the aim)
In order to facilitate interactions between the mathematical GR and astrophysical and cosmological communities, which I view as vital in order to identify important future directions in the field, I am planning a sequence of 1-week conferences starting in January 2025.
